Why is this course unique?

We have found more than 50% of errors are results of poorly designed procedures. This course teach students how to design a procedure that is simple and error-free. It teaches a rigorous 7- step design process, as rigor as designing a piece of equipment.  We found that it is better to be rigorous to design the procedures right, versus designing them haphazardly and becoming error-prone. This course also teach students to predict the error rate before the procedure is published so that, if rates are unacceptable, it can be improved further.
