Job Opportunity: Investigative Engineer

We are an international consulting firm that specializes in solving major, complex engineering problems, human performance related issues, industrial safety program issues, and equipment-induced problems.

We have an immediate opening for the position of Investigative Engineer (Full-Time). Applicant will provide on/off-site support to our senior consultants working at utilities in the power industry.

Job Description and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with:

  • Performing Engineering Calculations
  • Statistical Analysis
  • Data Review
  • Investigative Reasoning and Problem Solving
  • Technical Writing
  • Presentation Development and Delivery of Non/Technical Material
  • Miscellaneous Tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
  • Ability to think independently;
  • Ability to work overtime;
  • Ability to travel 100 — 150 days per year

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, 0+ years of experience;

Software Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
