We are an international consulting firm that specializes in solving major, complex engineering problems; human performance related issues; improving safety programs; performing root cause analysis; and resolving equipment-induced problems.
We have an immediate opening for the contract position of Error-Free® Training Instructor – Human and Organizational Performance Improvement. Applicant will provide on/off-site training to our clients in the utility, power, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries. This position will require a thorough understanding of Error-Free® methodology and software training before going into the field – provided by Performance Improvement International.
Job Description and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with:
- Perform training needs assessments, deliver curriculum and learning materials, and conduct training sessions of an average of 30 attendees.
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor programs as necessary
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
- Conduct evaluations of overall effectiveness and identify areas of improvement
- Feedback and implementation of training material improvement and customization for clients
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a trainer, instructor, or educator
- Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
- Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching
- Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Critical thinking and decision making
- Ability to travel
- Contract on a project-by-project basis
- A plus:
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
Educational/Experience Requirements
- BS/BA in business, HR, engineering, education or relevant field
- A plus:
- M.S. degree in an Engineering discipline
- Industry experience: utility, power, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical
- Management certification
- Chinese fluent (Mandarin)
Software Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Upon Error-Free® qualification, assignments will be made based on experience and Error-Free® comprehension. At this time, this is not full-time position, but a contractor on a project-by-project basis.
