Why is This Course Unique?
This workshop helps participants reduce two types of business waste: internal resources waste (such as unnecessary work, burdensome processes, etc.) and external resources waste (such as missed opportunities, under-used leverage, unexplored market, etc.) in their organizations. The participants will learn the methods to identify and reduce each type of waste. Participants will then be arranged into groups to discuss the wastes specific to their organizations and plans to reduce them.
This workshop is unique in that it integrates PIIís Error-Free® Human Performance Technology into Business Waste Control techniques. Many real-life examples are presented. Only by doing so, can wastes be readily avoided, identified and mitigated.
Benefits of This Course:
This workshop is an eye-opener. It teaches state-of-the-art human performance technology in waste reduction about 50% of the time at the workshop. In the remaining time at the workshop, the participants apply the learned techniques to reduce the wastes under their control. The group discussions are lively and enlightening in seeing how much hidden waste is discovered, and how it can be easily reduced to improve organizational effectiveness.
